Apple will soon be launching the camera connection kit with sale price of $29. As the iPad is lacking key component like USB port & memory card slots owners are finding hard to backup data, Camera Connection Kit provides much relief and will make the transfer of photos to the iPad much easier.

The kit will consists of two key components. One of the components will be used to connect to SD cards, SDHD cards and the Mini/Macro SD cards. The other component will offer the ability to transfer pictures using the USB cable cord, which usually comes with the camera.

When one these components are connected to the iPad, your iPad will launch its very own photo application. This will give you the option to import all your pictures to the iPad, or just a selected few. The known formats that will be compatitable with the camera connection are the JPG and RAW files.
