More and more new features are being discovered after the release of the  iPhone OS 4 beta 3. New iPod controls and a screen orientation lock available through the iPhone OS 4 multitasking interface were discovered yesterday. BGR installed new iPhone OS and found several new highlights for the updated operating system and reports that File Sharing and App closing exists in new updated OS.

File Sharing

Currently available with iPhone OS 3.2 on the iPad, iPhone OS 4 seems set to bring this feature to the iPhone and iPod touch, allowing users to drag-and-drop files between certain applications and their computers.

Multitasking: Closing Applications

Closing Apps while running many applications are made easier with this version of iPhone OS. No longer do you have to press, hold and click close for each application. You simply press and hold the icon of one of the many applications you’re currently running, and you’ll be given the option to close whatever ones you wish in rapid succession.
